"The Holy Spirit speaks through kids"

What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Romans 6:1-2

“I was initially asked to help out a few times over the summer with the CV kids team in 2016. I soon realised that I really enjoyed working with children. Fast forward 5 years, I am greatly encouraged by how much kids take in and understand, especially when it seems like they are distracted.

I love that the Holy Spirit speaks to and through children! The Holy Spirit has spoken to me through the children countless times!

In Kids we recently looked at responding to the Lord with thanks for His forgiveness. One of the kids shared that it made him think that God will always forgive us but we should try to not continue sinning. I was instantly reminded of Romans 6:1-2.
This is just one of many examples of God speaking his word through the kids.

More recently, the kids have been leading the sessions once a month. This includes teaching the bible story, leading in prayer and of course the game!

I see Jesus at work through the children as they make friends, serve and encourage one another. I am excited to see what the Lord will do throughout all our kids groups throughout the rest of the year and beyond!”
