In collaboration with Vineyard Churches UK we are launching a brand new one-night-a-month Leadership Program that we would love you to consider signing up for. We believe this course will make all of us better leaders and will enable all of us to have more fun when leading others. If this even slightly tickles your fancy, please have a look at the brief info below and then put Monday 10 October in your diary as a opening "taster session" where you can see what it is like and then decide whether or not to commit to the following 8 months. Please note that this is an invite-only session for people we have specifically selected.

Over the last two years we have found leading to be harder than at any point for the previous twenty. We recognise the burden of leadership that Paul describes in his letters to the Corinthians. However, we also recognise that there are certain skills and practices which - if learnt - make us better leaders and enable us to have more fun while we are leading. Our desire is to launch this new Leadership Essentials program to achieve two goals:

1) To provide you with training from the most experienced and best leaders in the International Vineyard Movement in the skills and practices in which they most excel so that you can become better leaders.

2) To create a leadership community within CV where you can build mutually helpful friendships with others who are walking a similar leadership journey to you so that you can have more fun when leading others.

Here are some headline details about the Program (please note we will run the first term Oct - Dec rather than Sept-Nov):

Each session will run on a Monday evening at the Harvest Centre from 7:45pm-9:45pm. The evening will include video input, discussion time, worship and ministry. There will be some optional follow-on work for each session, although this is truly optional and you should not feel it is necessary to get stuff out of the course. We would, however, ask that if you do sign up to this course that you take that commitment seriously and prioritise making every Monday evening session.

In addition to the above we have John and Ele Mumford (International Leaders of the Vineyard Movement) coming to Croydon to do a leaders day for us on Saturday 5 November. We would love you to put that date in your calendar and look out for more information!
