"The Holy Spirit worked through my children to heal me"

“I’ve always struggled with headaches and migraines. If I get stressed, ill or sleep weird it goes straight to my head. I’ve had prayer for it in the past but I have headaches so often they’re just part of the furniture of my life.

The other night I was putting my three kids to bed (aged 6, 7 and 9) and had a splitting headache. I told them they had to behave especially well tonight as I need to rest so my headache goes away.

Immediately my youngest put his hand on my head, the other two stretched out their hands from across the room and they said “please Jesus heal mummy’s head because it makes her sad and she’s got things to do tomorrow”. And just like that my head went hot and the pain dissolved into nothing!

The Holy Spirit had worked through my children to heal me. The healing power of Jesus is not limited to adults or prophets but is accessible to anyone who asks for it.

I was so encouraged that my kids prayed for me instinctively, without me asking them to and that God chose to show his presence to our family by healing me. Since then I’ve been trying to step out in faith more and am excited to see what God does next!”
