"God has been faithful to me"

"God has really been faithful to me and to my family this season.

I started a new job in September and even before I received my first pay check, all new members of staff received a salary increase!

Also, my daughter started year 7 in September and the whole secondary school process has been a long journey for us as a family. She sat the 11+ exams and passed but was not offered any of her choices. She was really upset and her faith was shaken because she worked hard and prayed as well.

I kept telling her that God knows the right school and environment for her and we have to trust Him even when it doesn’t make sense. Most of her friends got their secondary school choices and it was a very difficult time for her.

A day before she was meant to start secondary school we received an email offering her school place where we were happy with! Now she’s settled and happy in her new school. The whole experience really reinforced to us how faithful God is and how He is never too late if only we trust Him and wait on Him to act on our behalf."
