This summer we’re heading to Sri Lanka as part of a wider Vineyard partnership team with Verso Vineyard and Catalyst Vineyard. We’ll be travelling to encourage and bless local Vineyard churches, and to minister at a national youth & young adults gathering.

What kind of trip is this?
This is a Vineyard family partnership trip— a chance to stand with and encourage what God is doing through the Vineyard churches in Sri Lanka. We’ll be serving in ways that are invited and directed by local leaders, and travelling as learners as well as encouragers.
Expect a mix of:

Church visits & serving – encouraging local congregations and leaders
National gathering – worship, teaching, ministry, and connection (especially youth & young adults)
Team life – prayer, debriefs, travel days, flexibility, joy, and the occasional challenge

Who is this for?

We’d love applications from people who are:

Part of the Croydon Vineyard church family
Emotionally resilient and flexible (travel is wonderful and also unpredictable)
Happy serving behind the scenes as well as up front
Willing to be part of a team culture: honour, humility, punctuality, initiative
Able to self-fund the trip (approx. £1,500)

Note: Team places are limited (we’re aiming for 5–6 from Croydon).

Cost

Estimated cost: ~£1,500 per person (dependent on flights).
This is a self-funded trip. Each participant is responsible for paying their own costs (including flights and any required personal travel items such as insurance, vaccines if relevant, spending money, etc.).
