Safeguarding & DBS Check

As a church, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our youth and families and also for you as team members. Each volunteer is required to have a DBS check done in order for them to be a part of the team. Below you will find a DBS sign up form that you can use to start the DBS process. Please complete this if you have not already.

As a place of worship/organisation we undertake to meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 General Data Protection Regulations (from 25th May 2018) and all other relevant legislation, and the expectations of the Information Commissioners Office relating to the data privacy of individuals. All applicants are asked to complete this form, detach it from the Application Form and return it, to the Recruiter detailed below, in a separate sealed envelope

Here is a safeguarding training video that needs to be viewed by each mentor and reviewed by everyone at least once a year. We also have a safeguarding concerns form that can be found on our safeguarding page (link to it below). Any mentor, team member or member of the church can use this at any time. This is a way for you to report anything that you see that you think may be of concern.

Make sure to take a picture of your receipt and upload it below if you would like to be reimbursed.
