Tom Thompson - Senior Pastor

In 2013 Tom and Lesley were sent to Croydon to try to plant a new Vineyard church from scratch; no salary, no building, no congregation - just a vision from Jesus and trust in the power of the Spirit. They saw many people coming to faith or returning to their faith and after 2.5 years the church had grown enough for Tom to be able to give up his bi-vocational sports coaching job.

Today Tom's role in CV includes line managing the staff team, overseeing strategy, mentoring, preaching, being a Trustee and praying for spiritual awakening.

Outside of Croydon, Tom and Lesley are Area Leaders for Vineyard Churches in London and Tom is a  teacher on Vineyard Theological Training. Tom has an MA in Theology from Cambridge, and an MA in Diplomacy from SOAS. He is now studying for a Doctorate in Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary in California.

Tom is a bit obsessed with sport in general and Fantasy Football in particular.
