croydon Vineyard Vision Statement

Going the extra mile to reach the whole generation of 0-18s in Croydon, we want to meet them where they are at and show them Jesus in ways that make sense to them, training them to do the stuff of the Kingdom with their friends right now and investing int hem long-term, lovingly raising sons and daughters who meet all their potential in Jesus, joyfully sending them out to creatively and dynamically extend the kingdom of Jesus all across the globe.

What is our mission in Croydon Vineyard Kids?

Why do we do what we do each week? I often lose sight of the 'why' of what we do as I run around trying to get 25 crafts ready and make sure the bathrooms are unlocked on a Sunday... but every time I take a moment to think about why I am doing it, it always makes me excited! One way we like to sum up our vision for all the under 18s in Croydon Vineyard is:

We want each child to be saying these 3 things:
"I'm loving this!"
They are having loads of fun, building quality friendships and feeling absolutely safe, loved and welcomed.

"Jesus is amazing!" They are learning from the Word about who Jesus really is and having moments of encounter and connection with the all loving and present God of the universe.

“I'm doing the stuff!” They are having opportunities to get their hands dirty and actually do what Jesus did. To hear God's voice for themselves, to pray for others in the power of the Holy Spirit, experience walking the way of Jesus through generosity, kindness and forgiveness and getting to see God use them in miraculous and also every day ways.
