Pressing into Autumn
This term we are excited about all God is doing in us as a church—and all He is going to do with us in this season.
Over our Autumn term, we’re pressing into :
Solid Foundations for our kids groups
Create spaces where children feel stable, welcome, loved, and safe.
Focus on positive environments where good behaviour comes naturally.
Resources:
Use the new: [Background Slides] to keep sessions flowing smoothly.
By creating a good foundation this gives the children a stable place from which to grow, learn, and do the stuff Jesus did!
Greater Expectations of all God can do!
Raise our expectations and eagerly anticipate all that God can do in our kids lives! He is not limited by age, stage, ability or position!
Build on the powerful prayer time we shared last month by building a more regular prayer rhythm across the team. Watch the space!
Prayer sheets (coming next week) to help us pray specifically for our kids.
Join the new CV Kids Prayer WhatsApp group to share requests and pray together:[Join the Prayer WhatsApp Group]

Croydon Vineyard Kid’s Values! This is a soft launch for our new values, we’re excited to push into more clarity, more expectation and more engagement with our kids in this new term! Over the next month or two we will be trying these out and seeing how they land with the kids and team, it’s going to be fun!

croydon Vineyard Vision Statement
Going the extra mile to reach the whole generation of 0-18s in Croydon, we want to meet them where they are at and show them Jesus in ways that make sense to them, training them to do the stuff of the Kingdom with their friends right now and investing int hem long-term, lovingly raising sons and daughters who meet all their potential in Jesus, joyfully sending them out to creatively and dynamically extend the kingdom of Jesus all across the globe.

What is our mission in Croydon Vineyard Kids?
Why do we do what we do each week? I often lose sight of the 'why' of what we do as I run around trying to get 25 crafts ready and make sure the bathrooms are unlocked on a Sunday... but every time I take a moment to think about why I am doing it, it always makes me excited! One way we like to sum up our vision for all the under 18s in Croydon Vineyard is:
We want each child to be saying these 3 things:
"I'm loving this!" They are having loads of fun, building quality friendships and feeling absolutely safe, loved and welcomed.
"Jesus is amazing!" They are learning from the Word about who Jesus really is and having moments of encounter and connection with the all loving and present God of the universe.
“I'm doing the stuff!” They are having opportunities to get their hands dirty and actually do what Jesus did. To hear God's voice for themselves, to pray for others in the power of the Holy Spirit, experience walking the way of Jesus through generosity, kindness and forgiveness and getting to see God use them in miraculous and also every day ways.
