"I have been praying for my neighbour..."

“Church made up some gift bags for us to give out to our neighbours so I took one. I usually get my neighbour’s shopping and we regularly have a cup of tea just to catch up and pray. The gift bag was to cheer her up after heart surgery and to let her know it’s a little bit of God’s love.

God has been working on my neighbour as I have seen a positive change in her thinking and well-being. I have been praying for healing for my neighbour. It was great to sit with her and spend time with her.
I know God always helps us when we come to him in prayer. It might not be in the way you expect. Instead of directly answering your prayer, God might encourage you, strengthen you and bless you in some other way. The Bible encourages us to always come to God in prayer.

The words of Jesus are life-changing and timeless. When Jesus spoke, lives were transformed and the trajectory of life forever altered. He tells us that He is "the way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6) and His words have remarkable power.

There is always something to be thankful for. Aside from all of the other blessings in my life, even the simple fact that I have woken up to witness another day is something to give thanks for.”
