The story of Croydon Vineyard is one of ordinary people being used by Jesus to do extraordinary things.
Tom and Lesley Thompson were sent by South West London Vineyard to plant Croydon Vineyard in 2013 and serve as Senior Pastors. They have four boys and a dog called Fizz. In rare spare moments Tom can be found at the gym pumping his guns, Lesley will probably be listening to 80s music.
Phil and Caroline Greaves were crazy enough to follow the Thompsons to Croydon on the church planting adventure! They have two boys. They now serve as Community Pastors to reach those in Croydon who’ve not yet heard the good news Jesus brings. They run Street Cafe, the CAP Money Course and Vineyard English School, and are up for any initiatives that involve welcoming people from all nations, building community and serving the poor.
Andy Brims jumped on board Croydon Vineyard train in 2015. He now serves on the team as an Assistant Pastor. He gets involved across the life of the church in areas such as communications and events.
Phil Merriman heads up our music and songwriting teams at Croydon Vineyard. When he’s not playing or teaching music he’s normally found enjoying a coffee, a dessert, or a game of squash.

Sal Almeida, our boy from Brazil, heads up our youth (11s-18s) group, Alyve. When he’s not organising a bonfire and onesie night, he’s usally updating the Alyve Instagram account.
